How to do outdoors with a Toddler – Essentials to take along!

Happy Tuesday!

Sara will be turning 2 ... OMG! Where did the time go? We have recently traveled here and there and everywhere with my toddler in these two years. Since we are experiencing the scorching heat of Texas, now is the right time to compile all my tips/ essentials into one place for outdoor adventures. Having outdoor summer is fun with an infant, but it can be more adventurous/nerve-wracking if you don’t have the right stuff handy. If you’re going out with a baby, I hope this is helpful.

Carrier and Stroller I cannot do it without a carrier or a stroller, so these are my best bet on a budget. This carrier is Bebamour Baby Carrier. It has Toddler Baby Hip Carrier with Head Hood, Waist Extender. The traveling stroller you have seen on my Instagram is Cosco Umbrella Stroller with Canopy. It's lightweight and easy to manage with the kid.

Glasses

Toddlers need sunglasses too! When it comes to those innocent little eyes, WeeFarers Polarized Children’s Sunglasses is my grab. They offer 100% UV protection, affordable, and your baby will look as stylish as ever!

Sunscreen

Sunblock, Sunblock, Sunblock! It is an absolute must-have. Most baby sunscreens have harsh chemicals. One is Pipette – Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50, a baby-friendly, reef-friendly natural sunscreen that uses 100% mineral, non-nano zinc oxide for broad spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection. It is fragrance-free, and this toddler sunscreen's non-sticky formula rubs in quickly on our little movers.

The other one I like is the Banana Boat Ultra Mist Spray SPF 50+. It is alcohol-free that prevents irritation and dryness, even on sensitive skin. It has broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and has a water-resistant formula.

Portable Fan

Investing in a portable fan is a must – Especially when you have Texas heat driving us crazy. It is small enough to take it anywhere, and attach it to a stroller or car seat to keep your baby cool and breezy.

Inflatables

How will you stop a child with Inflatables and splash fun? My find from Amazon was this Inflatable floatie - It will entertain kids for hours.

Bug Spray

Once again, don’t use harsh chemicals on your baby's delicate skin! Sara has eczema, which flairs when we use harsh chemicals around. The best one in the market for bug spray is the YAYA Organics Baby Bug Ban.

Water bottle

We love Owala water bottles. It's easy to use with a leak-proof lid. Moreover has a Carry Loop and Sliding lock.

I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL IN PLANNING OUTDOORS WITH A BABY!
