Holiday wonderland at City Place’s Gingerbread Village

Happy Sunday!

Sara and I have been out and about exploring Houston. I think it's a great way for me to connect with Sara and explore locally.

Sara loves strolling so we made a mommy and me date out of it. We ended up going to Winter Wonderland - Ginger Bread Village at City Place. Well, I wish I had known sooner that they have been debuting it for four years.

It's such a lovely attraction and the exciting part is that it is free for all. When we enter City Place Elves are set throughout the park raising excitement for kids and adults.

One of my favorite part about the village is that it's set near the lake giving it a magical floating effect. Large gingerbread men, gingerbread houses, and candies are set throughout making it insta-worthy.

Sara was super excited to see giant candies and couldn't resist all the sweets throughout so I had to take her to a lovely cafe, Common Bond, across the park.

Overall, City Place is definitely a winner.

If you’re looking for a new park trail area to try out in Houston, Sara and I both give it two thumbs up! I hope the gingerbread village is set again in 2024 and I hope to see you there! 😉
